Amit Bhagwat is the son of Vidushi Vandana Bhagwat and a tabla player
accomplished in both solo performance and accompaniment. He learned
tabla from the late Pandit Vishnu Aloni and Sri Shantanu Panshikar and
continues to learn from Sri Gourisankar Karmaker. Amit is a software
engineer by profession.
