Extremely gifted Violin Maestros Mysore Nagaraj & Dr. Manjunath, the sons and disciples of renowned violinist Sangeetha Vidhya Nidhi Prof. S. Mahadevappa, were child prodigies who matured quickly to emerge as one of the top ranking violinists in India today. Their exceptional musical talents were first revealed at the tender age of nine when they stormed into the music world and swept music lovers and critics off their feet by their extraordinary musical acumen and technical virtuosity.

 

Violin Concerts of these Maestros have been featured in innumerable music festivals & conferences all over the world. As critics admit , their concerts are filled with peace, tranquility and exhilaration - the result of superb fingering and bowing techniques that create breathtakingly beautiful melodies. Dr.Manjunath has the privilege of representing Indian music at the prestigious International Violin Conference in San Diego several times. His outstanding performance at the Violin conference won him great admiration at the International level.

 

Termed a “Dream Team”, the brothers have worked with western classical and country violinist – Mark Connor, Italian guitarist Priyo, and well known rock violin star – Mark Wood. Some of their unique performances include music concerts at Common Thread Festival in Oregon, USA, All European Cultural Festival in UK, Opera House, Sydney, Festival of India in London, Royal Charity concert in Kuala Lumpur before the King of Malaysia, concert at Federation square,Melbourne, special concert before His Excellency. Dr. Sam Nujoma, the President of the Republic of Namibia, Concert at Putra world trade centre, Kuala Lumpur, Theatre da la villa, Paris and academic workshops/concerts at the University of Wesleyan, University of Chicago, University of Iowa, University of N. Texas, University of Osaka, Japan. Mysore Nagaraj & Dr. Manjunath are true cultural ambassadors of India who continue to preserve and spread the rich cultural heritage of Indian classical music, in all its glory.
